Real World Public Health Day
The Institute for Community Health, in partnership with the Cambridge
Public Health Department, sponsors an annual practice-based experience
for local public health students called Real World Public Health (RWPH).
This one-day event is an introduction to a day in the life of a local
health department through discussions, tabletop exercises, and a panel
of local public health officials.
In April 2007, we welcomed students from graduate programs in public health
at Boston University, Harvard University, and Tufts University to
participate in timely real-life exercises around healthy weight
promotion, mold and indoor air quality, and pandemic flu.
